Anchor Spine and Joint offers an array of medical procedures to help with Orthopedic Extremity.
Meniscus Repair
Meniscus repair is a surgical procedure aimed at repairing a torn meniscus in the knee. The meniscus is a C-shaped cartilage that acts as a cushion between the thigh bone (femur) and the shin bone (tibia). Tears in the meniscus are common, especially during sports or activities that involve twisting the knee. There are two menisci in each knee—one on the inner side (medial meniscus) and one on the outer side (lateral meniscus).
Rotator Cuff Repair
Rotator cuff repair is a surgical procedure to fix a tear in the rotator cuff, which is a group of four muscles and their tendons that stabilize the shoulder joint and allow for a wide range of arm movements. The rotator cuff can be torn due to injury, repetitive use (overuse), or degeneration with age, leading to pain, weakness, and limited shoulder mobility.
Carpal Tunnel Release
This is a surgical procedure used to treat carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), a condition caused by pressure on the median nerve as it passes through the carpal tunnel in the wrist. This compression can lead to symptoms like pain, numbness, tingling, and weakness in the hand and fingers, particularly the thumb, index, middle, and ring fingers.
Elbow Cubital Tunnel Release
Elbow cubital tunnel release is a surgical procedure used to relieve pressure on the ulnar nerve, which runs through the cubital tunnel on the inner side of the elbow. This condition, known as cubital tunnel syndrome, occurs when the ulnar nerve is compressed, leading to symptoms like numbness, tingling, and pain in the ring and pinky fingers, hand weakness, and elbow discomfort.
Ankle Repair
Anchor Spine and Joint performs multiple surgical procedures used to treat severe injuries or conditions affecting the ankle joint, such as fractures, ligament tears, or chronic instability. These injuries can occur due to trauma (like sports injuries or falls), wear and tear (arthritis), or other conditions that damage the bones, ligaments, and tendons in the ankle.
