Dr. Renato Vesga is Board-Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation in both Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and the Subspecialty of Pain Medicine. Dr. Vesga is exceptionally trained in diagnosing a full spectrum of spine and pain related disorders and performing various interventional spinal procedures, Electrodiagnostics and implantation of Neuromodulation systems.
Dr. Vesga is originally from New York City where he completed his undergraduate studies at Columbia University. He subsequently attended MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. After an internship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Vesga completed a residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Following his residency, Dr. Vesga completed an ACGME accredited fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at Temple University Hospital/ Mid Atlantic Spine and Pain Physicians. He remained as a clinical instructor for Fellows and residents at the Temple University Pain Medicine Fellowship Program until relocating to Florida. He has been a coauthor of Medical Articles and Book Chapters on Spine and Pain-related Disorders.
